Radio-Canada: a modern, lively building

The Radio-Canada building is an iconic location at the heart of Montreal's media scene. This nearly new, ever-buzzing building offers a stimulating space to clean for Roy.'s cleaning attendants. During a typical workday, our cleanliness guardians work hard to clean every corner, from studios to offices, common areas and the building's various facilities. The variety of spaces makes it a fascinating place to maintain.

Beyond being an impressive structure, this building is ideally located and easily accessible by public transit.

🌞 A little extra perk of this building, according to Maxime: the natural light that floods the building during the day, making the work even more enjoyable.

Building a trusting relationship with the client

When Maxime joined the Radio-Canada contract as foreman, his main goal was to build a strong, trusting relationship with the client and the building's users. Thanks to his excellent interpersonal skills, he brilliantly succeeded in his mission, ensuring a caring environment for his team members. Today, Roy. acts as a valued partner to the client, ensuring the cleanliness of the spaces used by Radio-Canada.

« There's mutual respect between my team members and the building's users. We work together toward Radio-Canada's mission, and we feel like we're part of the bigger team. »

An attentive, hands-on manager

Maxime describes himself as a demanding manager, always ready to roll up his sleeves to help his team exceed the building's cleanliness standards. He relies on personalized training and coaching to boost his team's development and ensure goals are met.

« I take the time with my team members. I'm a naturally curious person, and I enjoy getting to know the people around me. I ask questions to understand their personality and background so I can adapt my management style. This approach also makes it easier to build connections with my employees, allowing us to work together in harmony toward our shared goals. »

According to him, it's always easier to adapt to others than to ask them to adapt to you. This flexible management approach allows him to foster a team spirit where his employees feel understood and valued.

« There's a great culture of sharing experience within the Radio-Canada contract team. If an employee runs into difficulties, I can count on the more experienced employees to teach them the best practices of the trade. I like to encourage mutual learning by pairing up two employees so that each can benefit from the other's knowledge. »

He also acknowledges that without his experienced and professional team, he wouldn't be able to do his job as a manager with such ease.
